I spent 14 years as a firefighter in one of the busiest counties in the country. I loved the work, and I was good at it. Then my body started telling me a different story.
First it was a back injury I was told required surgery. I declined. I knew enough about back-surgery outcomes to know that was not my answer. Then I lost three friends in the same year. Brothers. The kind of loss that strips everything down to what actually matters.
When I retired from the fire service, I got the bloodwork that confirmed what I already felt. Biologically, I was four years older than my calendar age. The job had taken a toll I had not let myself see while I was still in it.
Here is the part I want to say plainly: the traditional system had nothing for me. My labs were within normal range, and the conversation ended there. No path forward, no real plan.
So I went looking. I spent years comparison-shopping optimization providers for myself. Eventually I found my way to the things that actually moved the needle: hormone optimization, peptide therapy, and the fundamentals done seriously, with real clinical support and real biomarker tracking behind them.
Today my labs read about 11 years younger than my chronological age. That is my own result, not a promise I can make for you. But it is why I am so certain this kind of care should exist for normal people with real lives.
I built omnyx for the adults who are where I was: first responders, veterans, parents, entrepreneurs, and high-output professionals the traditional system has nothing for. I called Dr. Matt, an ER physician I have known and respected for years, because he had been watching the same problem from the clinical side. We agreed to build the practice we both wished existed.
I am not a doctor, and I will never pretend to be. But I am walking proof this stuff works, and I built omnyx so real people can get there without spending years figuring it out alone.

Dr. Matt Stapleton is the Medical Director and clinical founder of omnyx, and a board-certified emergency medicine physician. After years on the front lines of emergency medicine, he kept seeing the same thing: patients landing in the emergency department because the proactive, accessible care they actually needed did not exist for them.
His approach is FDA-approved-first as the default, with compounded medications used only when there is a documented clinical reason, never the other way around. He is a stickler for documentation, monitoring, and the kind of rigor that separates optimization care that lasts from optimization care that breaks.
As Compliance Officer, Dr. Matt is responsible for privacy, regulatory monitoring, and the quality program. He approves every protocol, oversees every prescribing decision, and reviews the AI workflows that support the practice. His name is on every clinical note and every patient-facing piece of clinical content. That is not symbolic. Clinical care is his responsibility, full stop.
He sees patients by telehealth, with a synchronous initial video visit required before any prescription, and he treats every patient the way he would want his own family treated.
